In the UK, postgraduate studies (Master’s degrees) are typically categorized as either “taught” or “research” programmes. Taught programmes are often just one year in length, consisting of lectures, seminars, exams, assignments and dissertation work. The workload is likely to be more intensive than at undergraduate level, and students will be expected to pursue independent work, but with a significant amount of class time and supervision. This will vary by subject. Research-based master’s degrees usually take longer, often two or three years, and require students to complete in-depth independent research within a specific field – similar to the work required for a PhD, and resulting in the production of a thesis or dissertation report. A PhD takes longer again – at least three years, but often longer. Usually a master’s degree is needed in order to apply for a PhD placement, but this is not always the case.

We are experts in finding the best course and university matching your academic background and career goals. Application for the UK master’s degrees should start at the beginning of your final year of Bachelor Degree to ensure that you will be accepted at a top-ranked university.

If you wish to study a Master’s degree in September 2021, you should start applying by the end of October 2020 at the latest, and you will receive a conditional offer by December 2020.

Once the client decides the choice of the course and the university, we will compile all the necessary documents, including copy transcripts, copy certificates, copy passport copy of current and past visas, Certificate of Study and personal statements. Where required, proof-reading of personal statements and CVs will be made.

Once all the documents are ready, our dedicated application team will submit the client’s application to the chosen universities within 24 hours. Then we will track the application regularly and update the client with the progress. The assigned Consultant will help the client till the day he/she enrols at their chosen university. In summary, the steps are:

Initial Consultation – decision on courses and universities – compile application documents – submission of the application – conditional offer – unconditional offer – CAS – T4 visa

England has countless educational institutions, and almost every single one of them has opportunities for international students to study there. You can choose from a variety of different undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and combine your courses in order to make a degree programme that suits your needs and interests.

English educational institutions have a rich history and tradition of providing world class education to their students. You can find literally any course that you want in England.
International undergraduate applications to all UK universities are managed by UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) and, as an official UCAS centre, COSMO EDU’s professional educational consultants can guide you through the entire university application process.
To apply for an undergraduate course, you need:
1. A-Level: This is the standard qualification that most UK students hold.
2. Foundations: Tailor-made for international students, a Foundation course lasts for one term to three terms depending on your academic background and IELTS. Start-dates in January have recently been introduced for students to progress onto higher education in September in the same year.
English language requirement: IELTS 6.0-7.0 for Undergraduate/IELTS 4.5-6.0 for Foundation.

1. Foundation applicants should be in junior or senior high school year back at their home country, with an average mark of 70-85.

2. To apply for Higher Education, the applicant must be a fresher or in the middle of studying a UK Foundation degree.
Fees and finances: The UK Undergraduate course fees generally cost around £12,000 per year, plus £9,000-£11,000 living expenses per year.
